2007 NESCAC Champions !!!

By winning the 2007 NESCAC title, Middlebury continues to aspire to its motto "in pursuit of excellece". With a history dating back to 1893, the football program has developed a long-standing tradition of success both on and off the field. Since head coach Bob Ritter, a 1982 Middlebury graduate, took over the program in 2001, 45 student-athletes have earned all-conference accolades, while 27 were selected academic all-conference.

By competing in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), Middlebury associates itself with schools possessing similar strong educational philosophies. Football at Middlebury provides a student-athlete with an opportunity for fun, excitement, and a special brand of camaraderie. The Middlebury experience continues to demonstrate that the pursuit of excellence on the football field is totally compatible with the pursuit of excellence in the classroom, and that combining the two can be a rewarding and exciting experience.
